Free Prevent training for all schools in Newcastle.

Newcastle is now a Prevent priority funded area.

This means the Home Office has allocated resources to tackle the issue of vulnerable people being drawn into extremism.

Therefore, we now have dedicated staff to deliver the Prevent agenda in Newcastle. I am the new, full time Prevent Education Officer, employed by the City Council to work with you to raise awareness of Prevent and to help deliver on your legal responsibility to “have due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism”.
